Giulio Iacchetti


Giulio Iacchetti, born in 1966, has been working in the sphere of industrial design since 1992. He combines this activity with lecturing in multiple universities design schools both in Italy and abroad. The distinctive feature of his works is scientific research and definition of new objects typologies.

Giulio Iacchetti was promoted with a number of international awards. In 2001, his project of “Moscardino” disposable forks (designed in cooperation with Matteo Ragni) won "The Golden Globe" and due to this it is part of the constant design collection of MoMA, New York.
Concept and coordination of Eureka Coop projecting group for Coop Italia are included into main calculation of retail network and are focused on the new generation of Italian design. In 2009, this project was promoted with Premio dei Premi award for innovations. The awards were presented by the President of the Republic of Italy.

Giulio Iacchetti works as an art director on important brands, e.g. iB rubinetterie, Ceramica Globo and Il Coccio design edition.


In May 2009, La Triennale di Milano featured personal exhibition of works by Giulio Iacchetti named “Giulio Iacchetti. Oggetti disobbedienti”.
